Timothy J. Gallo
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. I love learning new things, whether it’s playing guitar, studying native plants, paddle boarding, or keeping up with new technology and how it affects my work. I’m a big fan of sports—especially college football (MIZ-ZOU) and professional baseball (Go Cardinals!). In my free time, I enjoy home improvement and interior design, like when I recently redesigned my kitchen and basement lounge.
My Professional Journey
I have over 20 years of experience in marketing, instructional design, and change management. I focus on being creative, strategic, and people-oriented to help organizations meet their goals.
Currently, I work as a Change Lead in the Compliance Division at Edward Jones. I partner with leaders to create and deliver change management and learning strategies using ADKAR methods. I’ve helped build the division’s first change management framework, led cross-functional projects, and introduced new tools like MoneyGuide with clear communication and training. These efforts have made processes smoother, increased adoption, and supported a people-first approach.
Before this, as a Senior Instructional Designer, I developed the firm’s first e-learning programs, blending technology with classroom training for Financial Advisors. My work modernized training, made development more consistent, and set up a system for updating courses. At St. Louis Community College, I led marketing for the Workforce Solutions Group, using integrated strategies to boost enrollment by 7% and program awareness by 25%. I also found ways to cut print costs by 30% while getting better results with targeted campaigns.
What makes me different is how I mix creativity with strategy. Whether I’m leading change, designing learning experiences, or running marketing campaigns, I connect storytelling, data, and human-focused design. People see me as a critical thinker, collaborator, and innovator who brings energy and focus to every project.
